Dive into seminars with world class Gracie Barra Black Belts while connecting with best friends from all around the world at the headquarters of Gracie Barra, home of Master Carlos Gracie Jr!
Aside from the seminars and meeting Master Carlos, the talents at Gracie Barra Florianópolis is ready to train with you, too! Optional group lessons are accessible to all camp participants, so you can immerse yourself in this amazing experience.
Experience
Start your day with breakfast at the cafe inside Gracie Barra Florianópolis. Fresh eggs, fruit, acai, you name it, all following the guidelines of Gracie Diet to fuel you for an eventful day.
Outside of training, we designed activities around Florianópolis to bring the beauty of Brazil right to this camp! From horseback riding under the full moon to the wilderness of a beautiful island that will take your breath away, this camp sure keeps you balanced between your training and connection with nature.
Love to explore local area? We got you covered. 2 nights out of 6, we scheduled fine dining for the group to connect and mingle. The other nights are your opportunity to explore what the local area has to offer. We also scheduled a casual night out for resenha with the GB legendary professors, “What ever happens at Florianópolis, stays at Florianópolis”!

Rob Staples
As both a competitor and a mentor, he has achieved numerous accolades, including gold at the London International and multiple podium finishes at the European Master Championships, where they secured two silver and one bronze medal. These achievements highlight his commitment to pushing their limits and excelling on the international stage.
Beyond their personal achievements, Rob founded Gracie Barra Channel Islands in Jersey & Guernsey in 2001, creating a space for students of all levels to learn and grow in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Their influence as a coach and mentor extends across generations of martial artists in the region.
Complementing his BJJ success, Rob also hold a 2nd Dan in Judo, awarded in 1992, reflecting his long-standing commitment to martial arts and self-improvement.
